Signature Events

October brings a change of leadership to the Lamar County Chamber of Commerce. The annual Chamber Celebration is held to recognize the events of the previous year. Those completing their service to the chamber are acknowledged and the gavel is passed from the current chamber chairman to the incoming chairman.

The Chamber Celebration, held at the Love Civic Center, includes a wonderful catered dinner and presentation of awards for Ambassador of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, The Imy and Bobby Walters Volunteer of the Year, Business of the Year, and Paris Economic Development Corp. Industry of the Year.
