Technection, LLC is currently interviewing for network and computer field technicians in the Paris, Texas area.
 
The field technician will be responsible for upgrading, troubleshooting, and the installation of computer hardware, software, personal computer networks, and other peripherals.

Technical Knowledge:
Wireless networks
Virus, worm, and spyware removal
DSL and cable modem setup
Wireless network knowledge (security - setup)
Technology consulting
Windows 7, XP Mac Os x, Server 2003
Troubleshooting and repairing hardware for desktops and laptops
 
Documents and Tools:
Reliable transportation
Valid driver license and insurance
Must supply own tools for computer repair
Ability to receive emails while in the field
Recommend (but not required)- GPS
Fax machine or fax from email

Superb skill set for explaining technical terms and processes to non-technical users Enthusiasm for computer and network repair Ability to solve problems and resolve conflicts in a timely manner Customer oriented Strong oral and written communication Flexibility in work schedule Ability to work independently Be a self starter and motivated Strong technical aptitude Positive solution-oriented attitude Ability to prioritize tasks and document all work performed

High School Diploma Comptia A+ certification (other certifications such as MCDST, MCP, and N+ are preferred) 2+ years field experience *Must be able to pass a criminal background investigation and random drug screenings*
